ABOUT ME

Kerry Williams is a native of New Jersey who moved to Richmond in 1996. He attended Hermitage High school and earned two letters before continuing his playing career at Division III Southern Virginia University.  Williams has more than a decade of coaching experience, starting his career at Hopkins Elementary School in the Chesterfield Recreation League.  In 2009, he became an assistant junior varsity boys basketball coach at Meadowbrook High School, helping lead the team to a perfect 20-0 season. In the 2014-15 season Williams became the head junior varsity boys coach and served as an assistant with the varsity team. Williams has eight previous seasons coaching AAU basketball, where he has secured several tournament championships as well as two state runner-up trophies on the 14U and 16U age group. In the 2015-16 season, his 16U team advanced to the AAU Sweet 16 Nationals in Orlando, Fl. Coach Williams is currently the associate varsity coach and director of player development at the Carmel School.
